Item 83-034 Sliding Screen Door Latch

A quick learner from Marlton, NJ says:
I received these replacement parts today. There are no instructions. I replaced the outer handle with no problem, however, the latch handle is giving me problems. When I slip the latch into the handle, what secures it so that it will slide up and down easily and not fall out. I must be doing something wrong. Does the latch have to be snapped into the handle? Thanks!

Thanks for posting! I hope I can help you with this dilemma.

To answer your question, yes; the latch snaps into place when pushed into the inside handle. Where are you having trouble?
A quick learner from Marlton says:
Thanks, did snap it in. I was trying to do that but it was hard to get it to snap in and I didn't want to break it. Fits fine and slides up and down easily.
