Jordan Window Parts

A home owner from USA says:
I need to replace a Jordan Window channel balance(2)(Pics 057, 052, 053) Can not read the stamp on them but looks like Caldwell 28311. Also need the cap that goes on the sliding window (Pics 060,061).

The window is a 20 yr old Jordan NON TILT vertical slide (up/down) window. It weighs 25 lbs, 34 3/8 in wide and 30 5/8 in tall.

Hope the pics are good.

Thank you in advance,
John

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 351 or our Series 390 balances.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 351 uses the 15-002 while the Series 390 uses the 15-001. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

Now, your spring weight option is 2830, but that's for a sash weight of 16 through 23 pounds. You said your sash weighs 25 pounds, which is too heavy for this option, so you might want to go up to the 2840 option. Do you agree? You may want to double check the weight of your sash, just in case.

As for the top sash guide, the closest match we have to yours is our 18-064. Could that work?
