Kinco tilt window latch

A home owner from Melbourne, FL says:
Hello,

We looking for replacement Kinco tilt window latches. The windows were installed in 1987 and the sun seems to have degraded the portion of the latch bracket that sits in the window and is held in place by one screw. We are trying to replace the existing latch before considering mounting an external latch in its place. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Jamison S

I'm afraid this latch has been discontinued and is no longer available. That said, you may be able to use a surface-mounted latch as a substitute if you can drill new holes for them. See our 26-193 and 26-194, as well as our 33-089 screw. See what you think.
