Knob at the end of arm facing wrong direction

A contractor from Austin, Tx says:
Most everything is working but there's one little glitch I'd like to discuss.

The X-Drive Split Arm ROTO Operator, Vinyl App Product Code 39-325 and 326--on the ones you sent me, the little knob that pops into the hole at the bottom of the window, sticks DOWN rather than UP like the previously ordered ones.

In the attached photos--the old ones are on the top and these most recently purchased ones are on the bottom.

I've tried every way I can to make it work with no success. What to do?

Maybe you have some ideas, or at worst, there's a swap we can do.

Thanks for posting. I recommend returning the operators you purchased for a refund and looking at our 39-329 and 39-330, instead. These look like better matches for your old operator.
A home owner from BAhamas says:
That's what I was planning to do--BUT I realized that the stretched out arm on the ones that work is something like 7 1/2 inches and the 329/330 is like 8. Will that work?

In a worst case scenario, you should be able to move the sash clip over to make up the 1/2" difference. Would that work for you?
