Thanks for posting. Are you trying to replace the whole balance system, or just the shoe? If you want a new balance, I think I may actually have an easier solution.

I recommend our S795-36 balance with a spring weight option of 36D. I also recommend that you add our 15-198 top hook. To install this new balance, remove the sash and then install the bottom shoe of balance into the track by twisting it in. Raise balance and hook it at the top of the track like your old balance. With a slotted screw driver, place it in the metal cam of the balance shoe and bring it down a few inches from the bottom sill and turn it towards you to lock it in place. Repeat for the other side and install your sash.
