Masterview window latch

A home owner from Phoenix, Arizona says:
The window opens vertically pushing up to open from the bottom up. The actual label from the window frame has the following information on it. AAMA HS-R20 - also has MST-10050; included on the right side of the label is
ANSI/AAMA-101-88; Series 8000 and MVI Manufacturer's code.

The latch that slides into the window groove to lock it has broken off and the window can no longer lock. I can find no other markings on the latch other than the name Masterview.

The latch itself is 2 7/8 " long and 3/4" wide. the screws that hold the latch onto the window frame are 1 7/8" apart.

Forgot to say that I am looking for a new MASTERVIEW latch or an equivalent, to replace the broken one.

Can you confirm the distance between the screw holes? If the whole lock is 2-7/8" long, the holes would have to be a 1/2" in on each side, which doesn't appear to be the case. Make sure to measure from the center of each hole, not the edges.

The closest lock we have is our 90-005, though the screw holes are 2-1/4" apart, center-to-center. If your hole spacing is different, you may have to redrill them on your sash.
