Mortise Lock

A home owner from Denver, CO says:
Hello!

I bought a mortise lock from you but it doesn't fit (I dropped the original in the door). I *think* the attached would work based on the keeper I can measure. Do you have a mortise lock (no keeper needed) like the attached?

Thank you!

Hello, thanks for posting. I have received your picture. It appears to be a drawing of the 82-260 and 82-249 keeper. These two parts can go together, but the 82-260 mortise latch has a face plate which should prevent it from falling into the cut out in the door. You could have something like our 82-239 or another type of mortise latch. I'm not sure. How well do the dimensions of the 82-260 compare to the cut out in your door?
