NEED A REPLACEMENT WINDOW "SAFETY LATCH"

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS CALLED BUT IT IS SOME SORT OF SAFETY LATCH THAT STOPS THE WINDOW FROM GOING ALL THE WAY UP WHEN YOU KEEP IT OPEN A LITTLE. THESE ARE CERTAINTEED WINDOWS APROX. 25 YRS. OLD

Good morning! Thank you for posting. This hardware is what is known as a Vent Lock, or vent latch. Yours appears to be somewhat similar to our 26-148. Please compare their dimensions and let me know if you agree!
