Need Replacement Channel Balances

A quick learner from Austin, TX says:
Hello, Can someone help me identify which replacement channel balance I will need? The length of the channel balance (not including the top and shoe) is 28 inches. Also, it is a Non-Tilt Window. I need 2 of them, but I couldn't find an exact match online. Perhaps a custom order is necessary? Thanks!

Good morning! Thanks for posting. I just have a few questions.

First, does your stamp read 27 9? If so, can you weigh your sash for me? We don't have an option that corresponds with any stamp ending in 9, and we will need to know your sash weight to find an appropriate strength spring.

Next, I'll need to figure out what that bottom shoe is. Check out our 15-001 and 15-002 and tell me which is a closer match.

Good Morning! Thanks for the quick response.

The shoe is 1&1/16" and it has quite a bit of wear (as you can see in the picture). I am guessing that it was 1&1/8 " and it wore down to 1&1/16" over time.

I will get back to you with the weight of the sash soon.

Thanks, John

I agree, it's likely that it just wore down. Let me know whenever you get the window sash weight!

Hello, Sorry that I took so long to get back to you. We just moved and I finally unpacked our scale.

The Sash weighs 29 lbs.

Thanks!

Great. In that case, order S395-28 with the option 2750. Let me know if you have any questions.

I competed my order.

Thanks for your help Tom.

You are awesome!
