Need channel balance and parts

A home owner from Zumbrota MN says:
Hi,

The pix show a BSI 26" channel balance. I need one more just like that one. I also need parts to complete an assembly of another smaller (17") channel balance just like that one. We have the 17" metal spring but there isn't a shoe or top on it. And then I'll get some spare parts as well. Before I list them can you please tell me if I replaced the 26" channel balances with 27" channel balances would that work?

Here's a list of what I'd like to purchase from you:
1 - 26" balance like the photos
4 - take out clips
5 - ch. balance tops (like picture or equivalent)
5 - ch. balance shoes (like picture or equivalent)
12 - rivets
1 - rivet install tool

PS Thanks for the informative how to videos. It sold me on buying from you.

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 380 or our Series 385 balances. Both of these balances use the 19-005 top attachment, which I think looks like your own.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 380 uses the 15-005 while the Series 385 uses the 15-004. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

For the take out clips, check out our 16-002. For the rivet and rivet installation tool, check out our 62-005 and 75-075, respectively. Also check out our guide on how to install balance attachments separately.

Thanks for the info Tom. I measured the bottom shoe and it's 1-3/32. What's the part number for a 26 in complete channel balance of this kind?

Are you sure the metal channel is 26" long? Usually a stamp of 26C means that it's 27" long. Either way, when you select the Series 385 link, you can see a list of all the lengths we offer. After you double check your own, simply select whichever matches your balance and you will be taken to the appropriate part.
