Need replacement shoe

A handy person from Pittsburgh, PA says:
I have a window that won't open/go up; I removed the bottom sash and looked in the track. I think I need replacement shoes. The first pic shows the shoe part but the balance is not attached to it. The second pic shows other side of window; looks like shoe piece is broken at top and nothing for balance to attach to. I couldn't find any part numbers. These are in a Ryan home built in 1998. There is a second window that won't stay up. I didnt take it apart but guessing it's the same problem. Thanks for your help!

It's hard to tell from your pictures, but the shoe doesn't look broken. It could be the damage is just obscured, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. The problem may just be that the balance isn't attached to it. I would watch the video below, this may help you get your windows working again.

Thanks for your reply. In the first pic it's not broken, just balance not attached and I don't know how to attach it. In second pic which is other side of the window, it looks different and is missing the top part of the shoe and the screw. I would like to order 4 shoes if you can tell me which part is closest to my style.

Ah, I see. I apologize, I didn't see the second picture. There are actually a few different possibilities, and it would ultimately come down to how thick your shoe is. Start by looking at our 15-015, 15-046, and 15-047, and see which shoe has dimensions that most closely match your own. Don't worry about the color of the cam or the brake, they don't matter so much. The size is what is most important.
