Need setback measurement for lock set

A handy person from Mount Airy, MD says:
I believe I'm about to replace a Swisco handleset that was special ordered through Lowes about 12 years ago. All the pictures of 82-034 appear very much like what I have installed. What's the setback for the lock mechanism? The hole centers are ok as well as the height and faceplate....the only missing measurement in my mind is the setback.

Mike from SWISCO responded:
Firstly, the 82-034 Legacy Handle Set with Key Lock has a thumb turn that must line up with the mortise lock in your patio door (e.g. 82-218 Mortise Lock, Round Face). Lining up the thumb latch with the mortise lock will determine the "setback" or "back set." Depending on the door, the back set is normally one (1) inch. However, be sure not to make contact with the glass when drilling on the door.
