New Window Cranks Needed

A quick learner from NY says:
I have a combination of single and double wood casement windows which I think are Pella but can not find a serial number. Can you let me know which replacements I should buy

Tom from SWISCO responded:
I don't believe this is Pella, no. I would be happy to help you identify your cranks, but I cannot identify them based on these images. I can only see the base and the gears, but I do not see the arms. If you can, please open the window as wide as it can go and take a picture of the arms once they're exposed. Thanks!

Perfect, thank you. I recommend you check out our 39-031 and 39-032 and see if these can work for you as replacements.
A quick learner from Windsor, Ontario says:
Is it possible just to repair the cranks themselves. I believe I am missing the clip that holds the crank in place. I can get my windows to open, but not to close. If I do need the replacement crank unit, how long would it take to get it sent to my home...

thank you.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
I'm afraid not. Take a look at the second picture in your first post. Do you see that corkscrew-like gear sticking out of the bottom of the handle? That is not meant to come out. If it has, it means the gears are stripped, and there is no repairing that. Your only recourse is to replace the whole operator.

See our Shipping Policy for more information regarding shipment times.
