Noisy pocket doors

A home owner from fremont oh 43420 says:
Both pocket doors (appear to be raied panel Masonite) operate fine and do not squeak when opening or closing. When you walk through the opening or step adjacent to the opening, the doors have a squeaking noise coming from within the pocket -when either doors are open or closed. The rest of the floor in the house is fine. The house is an 8 year old ranch.

If the door doesn't squeak when rolling, then it must be in the wood trim around the door or in the flooring. My first instinct is to look at the flooring. Maybe some support wall was taken out and redesigned to accommodate the pocket doors, but I can't be sure.
