Non tilt window balance

A home owner from usa says:
Hello,

I have a non-tilt window (20 lb) that comes with a pair of 30" channel balance, 1/2", stamped 30 4 LP CALDWELL. The window is very hard to pull down for closing because of excessive tension of the channels. Both sash guides are crack and broken so I am looking for replacement parts for the guides as well as proper replacement for the 30" channel balances if they are indeed not fit for the window. The window just weights 20 pounds.

Attached are few pictures of the channel and sash guide for your reference.

I would appreciate if you can let me know the replacement parts for this window.

Thanks for posting. Looks like you have an Alpine window that used an 18-171 top sash guide. Most Alpine windows use our Series 385 balance, which appears to match yours. Just make sure everything matches up.

If you agree, I recommend our S385-31 balance with a stamp option of 3030. Two balances with this option can carry a sash weight of 16 through 23 pounds. I think you will find the sash operates more smoothly for you.
