Hey, George. You have a very old balance that is not made anymore. I'm afraid our standard T lock shoe won't fit in the old channel. You would need an entirely new balance. See our Series 795 for the substitute we suggest. Also keep in mind this installs at the top of the window using a screw tab; I'm not sure if yours uses a screw tab or hook of some kind. Let me know.

I would just double check the length of the metal channel and the weight of the sash to confirm the best size and spring strength option. I believe you'll need the S795-27 with a 27B option, but it would be a good idea to confirm this.
