PAECO Skylight window

A quick learner from Toms River, NJ says:
I've got 2 skylights in my house, and while I was up on the roof this morning trying to get them to seal, I found a tag with a serial number on one of them. It says PAECO, Toms River, NJ 08753, serial no. 45558, Made in U.S.A. They have a plastic flange around them where they go on the roof that's pretty brittle. The glass has an aluminum frame. The latches on the inside have a kind of chain on them and they don't work. I don't know how long they've been up there, but the house was built in 1980 and I've had it since 2007. Are there parts available? Or would I be better off replacing everything?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
You could try replacing the individual parts first, yes. We have the 39-379 skylight operator. Could that work for you? See how well it compares to your existing skylight.
