PGT single hung replacement spring balance

A handy person from Bonita Springs, FL says:
The window is PGT 36" x 36" single hung.
The balance top looks like 19-005. The bottom shoe looks like 15-005 but without the wings. The balance on the window is 37".
Also, do you have installation video for this window?
We would like to replace both left and right side balances.
Photo attached.
Can you help?

Thanks for posting! That bottom shoe might be our 15-001. Is the depth 1-1/8"?

If you agree, then this balance will have to be custom made, as we do not have a Series that has this attachment configuration. Before I start, though, I first need to know the length of your metal channel and what the stamp printed on that channel reads.

We do, indeed, have a video! Take a look below.

Tom,

We watched the video. It helped us remove the spring balance.

Bottom shoe is 1 1/8" deep, Metal Channel is 37". Stamped on the bar is "36 5 followed by a small BSI turned 90 degrees followed by a small RN on the same plane as the 36 5"

Hope this helps you help us get the right replacement balances.
Thanks,

Bob

Great! Thanks, Bob, that is a huge help and should be all we need. Take a look at S395-37 and choose the option 3650. Let me know if you have any questions.

Really appreciate your help.

I have 2005 PGT vinyl single hung impact windows. We have windows I would like to replace the balance springs in. We need to identify the type of hardware I need, and what measurement I need to take.
Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to us! Looks like you have typical tilt window spiral balances, which means my top recommendation is going to be either the 3/8" diameter Series 900 or the 9/16" diameter Series 600.

Your next step should be to measure the original balance tube to determine which of these two sizes is best for your window.
