Patio Door Handle Replacement

A quick learner from Fountain Valley, Califprnia says:

I need a replacement for the locking door handle shown in the attached photos. My present handle came with the door in 1965. I could not find any markings, manufacturer, P/N, or model #.

The problem I have encountered is finding a replacement with bolt spacing 3" center to center. I measure the hole to hole on my part as 3-1/16".

You have a part on your web site that is 3" center to center. Will this part work for me.

If it does, please provide the ordering info I'll need.

Thank you for posting. Are you referring to our 82-013? If so, I cannot guarantee that it will work for you, but it appears to be the closest match we have. It very well may work for you, but I cannot confirm.

I've ordered P/N 82-013. Hopefully it will fit. It's better than spending $1000 for a new door.

If it doesn't fit, can I return it?

That original lock is a good one. It latches, then pulls the door closed a little tighter.
