Patio door track is bent

A handy person from Murieta, GA says:
My sliding door track cover can easily be removed and does not sit on anything. Is this normal?

All of the posts and videos that I have seen the track cover sits on top of something to hold it. In my case the door sits right on the track cover and has bent the track cover where it no longer sits straight up but at an angle. Are some doors tracks made like this on purpose and if so would your track cover be sturdy enough?

Thank You,
Luis

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Hey, Luis. It sounds like your sliding door is either very heavy or the rollers are dragging and need to be replaced.

If neither of those instances are the case, then you could try using our 80-100 track cover and install a small screw on each of the far ends through it and the old track.
