Pella Double Hung Channel and Shoe

A home owner from Simsbury,CT says:
I thought the part was #V6155 but I guess I am wrong. What is the part number for the channel ? Shoe ? Are the part numbers different for left and right ? What would cause the bottom window to not stay open ?

It looks like the shoe on your balance has broken. Is that the only issue, or is the balance itself damaged in any way?

If all you need is the shoe, there are two possibilities: our 15-194, which is 1" wide, and our 15-195, which is 1-1/4" wide. See what you think.

I believe the channel is damaged. What is the part number for the channel? Do you have instructions or video on removing and inserting the channel ?

Ah, I see. I believe our Series 795 channel balance is a match for what you have. One important detail to keep in mind about this balance is that it comes with the wider 15-195 by default. If your shoe is 1" wide, you will need the 15-194 separately. Fortunately, the shoes just pop on and off so you shouldn't have any problem switching them out. If your old shoe is 1-1/4" wide, then the Series 795 should work for you as-is.
