How long should Pella sliding door rollers last?

A home owner from USA says:
I ordered and received two Pella #81-098 patio door roller assemblies in April. They work beautifully and are of the highest quality. I replaced others that had been installed by a non-Pella dealer.

I am in a dispute with this local window company who, I feel, cheated me and put in worn rollers or re-installed my old ones. My question: How long should new rollers typically last on a patio door (kept clean) that is opened and shut 4-5 times daily at the most? They should last years, right? I would appreciate a response as to your best guess along with a copy of this message.

I would have to agree with you. The rollers are steel ball bearing and should last for years. The only time you would have trouble early on is if the track the roller is on is damaged. Also, location is a factor as well. If corrosion is an issue in your area that may lend itself towards a shortened lifespan.
