Permanent Window company crank mechanism

I need to replace several crank mechanisms for windows made by Permanent window company. If you have them can you tell me if there's a way to remove the old ones without removing the wood? Perhaps a special tool?

Thanks for posting, Connie. It's hard to tell what you have based on this picture, but it looks similar to our 39-031 and 39-032. Do you agree? As for taking out the old one, you have no other option aside from removing the wood trim. See the video below for the best method of doing this.
