Can you use pet screen on a forever dorm with the 55-109 flat spline

If you have a Forever storm door that requires the 55-109 ridged spline, you cannot use pet screen. This can only be used with regular fiberglass screen wire. You can't even use aluminum wire, I'm afraid.
