Phillips single hung window

A home owner from Yorktown heights, new york says:
Windows have spiral balances and plastic shoes. Some shoes seem to be broken and will not hold the balance in place. The flat end of the balance has two raised bumps that seem to fit above and below the shoe probably to keep the balance from moving vertically once seated in the shoe. windows were installed by builder when house was built about 20 years ago.

Your Phillips window looks like it is using a pivot shoe similar to our 15-046 and a balance like our Series 600 with a 5/8" diameter tube. If you also need the pivot bar, see our 26-040 for a possible replacement. Please compare these parts to your own to confirm.
