Pivot Balance Shoe for Polybau windows

A home owner from Pleasanton, CA says:
Hello - I have Polybau windows and one of the Pivot Shoes has broken. Appears your P/N 15-218 is closest match, with same length (2 1/4"), same width (31/32"), and same upper-half depth (3/8"). But the lower half of my pivot shoe has a depth of 9/16".

Will the 15-218 expand to 9/16"? If not, could I glue a piece of plastic to the back to make it thicker - would that work? Please advise. -thanks, Don in Pleasanton, CA

I think our 15-218 pivot shoe may still work as a replacement for yours without any additional plastic glued on. Both 3/8" thick and ours expands to just about 9/16".

OK, sounds reasonable. I will order the 15-218 and make it work :-) -thanks, Don in Pleasanton

For future reference, please also see our new 15-220. We believe this may be a better match for this pivot shoe.
