Pivot Shoe Replacement in Aluminum Frame

Is replacing a pivot shoe in an aluminum frame the same procedure as your cut out video showing a vinyl frame pivot shoe replacement?
My aluminum frames already have a cut out on one side in every frame. My concern is removing and replacing the shoe itself using the screw driver as shown in the video in an aluminum frame.

Thanks for posting. I would need to see a picture of your pivot shoe in order to determine the best match. I'd also need its dimensions. It looks like you do have a cut out already, yes. You will likely have to remove your balance first. You would remove it the same way we show in our video.
