Pivot shoe is too wide

A quick learner from Chicago says:
I thought I saw in your discussions a connection between the 15-047 and the 15-070.
However, the 15-070 gets stuck in my windows. It's too wide.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I see you also bought our 26-147. Both the 26-147 and your old style pivot shoe were used on Seasonal Thermal Guard windows. That pivot shoe isn't made anymore, but the 15-070 is considered the modern replacement. I'm surprised it didn't work for you, I've never had any problems with it before. What is the width of your old pivot shoe? I wonder if your track has dings in it. You may also consider spraying silicone in the tracks.
