A home owner from Bethesda, MD says:

Hello,

I would be grateful for help finding a replacement part for the broken plastic catch for the top of a 50 year-old wooden bi-fold door.

Many thanks!

Thanks for posting in our Discussion Board! Was this piece broken off of a larger bracket, by any chance? It looks like it might be the nylon part of our 23-301 Bi-Fold Door Bottom Pivot Bracket. Let me know!
A home owner from Bethesda, MD says:
Thanks for your response. This is a single piece; the end that is broken is where the top pivot snaps in.

In that case, I suggest that you look at our 21-203 Float-A-Way pivot bracket, which serves the same function as what you've described. Is that a better substitute?
A home owner from Fresno, CA says:
Did this replacement Dave suggested work? I have the exact same broken plastic catch for my bifold doors.
