Replacement Corner Tilt Latch

A quick learner from Riverside, NJ says:

Tilt window is Mastic, The corner latch has the number 11230 and patent # 4,578,903. It is a nylon corner shape with a springloaded white plastic slider mounted on it. Total length of the nylon part is 2.75 inches, width is 1.25 inches, and height is 1.1875 inches.

It is easy enough to get it out once you know how but to find the part is tough!

Thanks for posting, Pete. Please take a look at our 26-110 top tilt corner latch and match its dimensions to your own hardware. Do you think this might work for you? Please let me know!

The dimensions are close enough that only experiment will reveal the answer. I have ordered one and as soon as I've tried it out I will post the results. If it does work I will order some more for the other windows here which are in need of repair.
