Replacement Parts

A handy person from Ellenton, FL says:
I have 8 year old PGT single hung windows. The existing channel balance rod reads 34-9 CA2 CMC 4. Please advise replacement part number. Thank you, Jim.

Start by looking at our S380-35, I think this may be a match. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to determine the proper option.
A quick learner from Ellenton, FL says:
Thanks Tom. TheS380-35 looks right to me. My scale shows the sash weight at 35 lbs. I assume the 3450 is the correct part and hopefully my scale is inaccurate, reading a little on the heavy side. Jim

Tom from SWISCO responded:
I would double check your sash weight. If it is 35 pounds, the 3450 option may not be strong enough. We could custom make a stronger spring, but we'd have to know the exact sash weight.
