Replacement Sliding Glass Window Pull Handles

A home owner from Winter Springs, FL says:
Hi:

We have just remodeled the kitchen in our 30-year old home and now have decided that we need to update the door pull handles on our large double sliding window above the sink. One window slides to the left and the other slides to the right.

Attached are photos of each of the original door pull handles installed. Note that they are identical expect that the one has a large wooden handle attached to it which is mounted on the right window which is the only one we normally open. Also is a photo of the underside of the hardware of the left window with the inside pull shown on top. They are inscribed as follows:

DNS INDUSTRIES, 12 INSIDE PULL
MIAMI, FLA -1400 SERIES

DNS INDUSTRIES, 11 OUTSIDE PULL
MIAMI, FLA -1400 SERIES

They are 7 3/8” inches high and 7/8” wide. The center-to-center distance of the holes is 6 5/8”. I tried to purchase replacements at the 2 well-known home improvement stores but each of their pull handles were too short as the entire assembly would move up and down in the slot in the door frame when used and they also didn’t completely cover the slot in the door frame.

It looks like your 82-008 Daryl sliding door pull handles may work. Can you please verify?

If it will work, do you have it in any other finish besides chrome? We would like a brushed aluminum finish, if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Bill

Hey, Bill. I agree, our 82-008 looks pretty close. Just triple check all the dimensions to make sure everything matches.

It is only available in a chrome finish.
