Replacment 1957 casement windows

A quick learner from Cascade, Iowa says:
The casement window pictured here and used in this house was built in 1957. I am pretty sure that the windows are Biltwell from Dubuque, Iowa. At least the hardware has that as a stamp identifying the hardware as such. The arm is over 14" in length.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
You operator looks like an older version of the 39-014. However yours has a large nylon bearing at the end so you will need to replace the track with the 39-505 to fit the newer version bearing. I'm also not sure how well the 39-014 will fit in the sill trim, so keep in mind you may need to adapt the sill to fit the new style operator.
A home owner from Ohio says:

looking at the picture of the operator with the tape measure

if you look at the one on the left with a screw going down from the top is what i have. mine has a 9-1/2 " arm and a smaller one as well. its stamped bilt well on the top of both arms.but nothing anyplace else

is the single arm version mentioned 39014 my option?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

If your arm is only 9-1/2", then I would recommend the 39-028E and 39-027E instead of what Dave recommended above. However, his warning is still in place. There's no guarantee that these will work, and if they can then it would likely require some adaptation. I'm sorry that we cannot offer a better match.
