S390-24 Spring Strengths, 26B, 23D

A home owner from Miami Lakes says:
I need to order some new S390-24. I have ordered them in the past for some other windows. I need to find the proper spring strength. In the past I ordered 2330 but these windows are more narrow and don't weigh as much, I think. The only stamp on the old channel balances that I am currently replacing says 23B. When I ordered the 2330 the balances that were being replaced said 23D. So 23D = 2330, I think. What does 23B = ??

Tom from SWISCO responded:
Hello! A 23B should correspond to our 2320, but a 23D would usually correspond to our 2340. It works off the idea that A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. When in doubt, you can always just weigh your sash and refer to the chart on our S390-24 store page. No need for guessing, then. That'll tell you exactly what you need.
