Screen door roller

A home owner from High Point, NC says:
I am trying to determine which part would work best as a replacement. I will likely order 8 as we have 2 doors. The house was built in 1960, but I'm not sure the doors are that old. They are several years old as they are metal, not the white/plastic or other common colors. The wheel is 1" but plastic, what is the benefit to the SS? Also, I think it is standard, but the width seems wider than 5/16 unless I'm measuring wrong! There was a screw to secure/adjust the piece. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for posting. This looks a lot like our 84-001 roller. Check it out and see what you think. The 84-107 has a stainless steel roller and the 84-031 has a steel ball bearing roller. Some people have said that these roll more smoothly, but it's also important to consider the environment. Nylon and stainless steel work better in areas where corrosion is a problem.
