Self-closing drawer slide

A handy person from Delaware says:
I want to replace my existing slides with self-closing slides. How do I measure my existing slides? From the very end of each slide? Is there a diagram available to show how to measure the existing slides? Thanks.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
I believe the best way would be to measure your existing tracks and drawers. That would determine the length needed. I have some of these type tracks on my kitchen drawers at home and the track is a little shorter than the drawer by an inch. It didn't really prove to make that much of a difference. If you'd like, send us some photos of your drawers and existing tracks along with the length and we will do our best to come up with the best size.
