Series for channel balance marked 35DS

A quick learner from Jersey City, NJ says:
I need to order 12 window channels. I believe it's the 36" Series 390 Channel Balance with 19-002 top and 15-001 but I would like your advice. I've attached photographs, also the metal part is 36" long and is marked "35DS".

I agree, our Series 390 looks to be the best match. I'm not sure about the stamp, though. What is the weight of your sash?
A quick learner from Jersey City, NJ says:
Thanks, I don't have anything to measure the weight with. I know someone else in the same building (same window manufacturer but different dimensions) who ordered the 38" Series 351. As far as I can tell the main difference between S390 and S351 are the top and the shoe attached to the channel? So as long as I get those right I should be okay or is there more to it?

The only difference between the Series 390 and Series 351 is the size of the shoe. Double check the size of your shoe to confirm which is better.

However there is still the matter of the stamp option. This indicates how strong your spring is. I think your sash may weigh 36 pounds, but this would mean your balance would have to be custom made, regardless of whether you have the S390-36 or S351-36. This is why I would like you to confirm, just in case.

Finally got a hold of a scale. The window sash is 35 pounds it seems. The exact measurement was 34.8 but may be the scale is slightly off. It's safe to say it's 40 pounds or under.

Great, thanks. Were you able to determine if you have the S390-36 or S351-36?
A quick learner from Jersey City, NJ says:
S350 and S390 have the same top 19-002 and almost identical shoe 15-002 and 15-001 respectively. Those are almost the same except for 1/8" of a difference for the length.

I seem to have a match for S390 with the 15-001 shoe (1" x 1 1/8" x 1/2").

I will also want to order replacements for take-out clip 16-002 and top sash guide pair 18-159P, 12 of each.

Great. If you have the S390-36, I recommend the 3550 option. Two balances with this option can carry a sash weight of 30 through 35 pounds.
