Looking for replacement shoe
for Bonneville sash installed about 10 years ago
mark on balance says "(03/12) UNIQUE 27 HD"


Black shoe
width is 3/8 inch
height is 1 3/16 inch

Thanks for posting! This shoe resembles our 15-014, however we do not recommend replacing the shoe by itself as you would have to reset spring tension, and that can often be dangerous. I think you should consider replacing the whole balance. See our S751-28, which I think closely resembles yours.

Thanks much. I ordered two balances. Not sure what "HD" means, but that is what is stamped on my balance, so that is what I ordered. Also, my balance is stamped "27" but is 28 inches, so I assume that is what I need. Paul

Yes, I think that's a good way to go. Usually a stamp of 27HD indicates a balance length of 28". I know that can be confusing, but it's just the way these balances are.
