Spiral balance with plastic sleeve

A home owner from michigan says:
i have a plastic sleeve that covers the spiral spring unlike your 600 series balancer. The length of the plastic sleeve per your measuring instruction is 22" but the blue plastic bushing is recessed about 1/2" inboard. The overall length from one end to the other is 23" with the rod completely pushed in. What length should I use to order?

Please take note that our Series 5/8" tilt balances are with metal tubes, not plastic. For your window, I would recommend going with our S600-22, with a blue tip.
