Swinging door seal

A handy person from Florida says:
I am going to install a swinging door between the kitchen and "office" and would like to have the door 'seal' somewhat when it closes. (center of jamb)
Can I dado a slot and install a seal the door would stop at but go in our our? -or-
What about a seal in the edge of the door for easier (more flexible) stop position. Would appreciate your input. Thanks, Bob

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:
Take a look at our 58-053 and 58-085. For either one, I think you would need to cut a groove into the edge of the door. The 58-053 just pushes into a slot but the 58-085 is held in with a flat head screw (approximately 1/2" long). We do carry the 33-088 flat head screw to be used for a wood door installation. Could either of these options work for you?
