Thermal Guard Windows model 405 balances

A handy person from Allentown, PA says:
I think I'm going to need balances and pivot shoes. Also the loading tool and jam spreader. The windows are about 35 years old. They are the tilt style in various heights.

Thanks for posting. It looks like you have the larger balance tube, likely with a diameter of 5/8" or 9/16". If so, I would recommend our Series 600 spiral balance. As for the shoe, could you give me its width and thickness? Thanks!
A handy person from Allentown, PA says:
It is 1-1/4" wide and 5/8" thick. If you include the cam area it is 3/4" thick.

Thank you! This information is perfect. Seeing the shoe out of the window is a huge help. This exact part actually isn't made anymore, but our 15-070 should work as a substitute. Check it out and see what you think.
