Tilt latchs are broken on window

A quick learner from Blue Springs, Missouri says:
We have windows that were originally installed when our house was built in 1996 in Blue Springs, Missouri. We can't find any identifiable info on the window to find out the manufacturer-we think it might be Columbia but aren't sure (they're vinyl windows). The tilt latchs have broken off both sides of one window & we can't figure out: 1) where to buy the replacement part & 2) if we can even fix it ourselves. It doesn't look like we can take the top of the window off--where the lock is--if we needed to in order to reach the internal latch (at least it looks to be internal-there are no screws on the side) like we've seen in some repair videos. The first pic is the left side tilt latch-you can see where it's broken off. The second pic is the right latch-the entire latch & the lever has broken off & you can see the inside of the latch. Can you help us, please? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Here are 3 additional pics. The first one is what the top of the window looks like now. The second one is a close up of the left tilt latch that has broken off. The third pic is what the tilt latch is supposed to look like on a window that is works correctly (please ignore the dust!). You can see it has a triangular shape. Thanks again!

Thank you for posting. I'm afraid we don't have an exact match for this latch. To be honest, you may be better off substituting with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different than the others in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
