Trouble with 82-107

I bought this piece but I am having trouble getting it on. It is the exact same size as the piece that came off but when I put the handle on it does not seem to be reaching. Please help with instructions to install.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say it's not reaching. Could you show us a couple pictures of the problem? That may help give us a better idea of what can be done.
