We would like for you to start by taking a look at our 39-031 and 39-032 operators. Carefully compare your measurements and dimensions to ours and get back to us with some thoughts.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

That appears to be an identical match to the operator shown above. If you haven't already, your next step should be to review our 39-031 and 39-032 to confirm that they match.

A quick learner from Huntsville Alabama says:
I have truth 42054 window operators. I ordered 39-032 and 39-031 as replacements. There is something just a bit different in the replacement vs the original. Or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. We tried to install one new one and it didn't work.
The short straight arm has #20544 on it.
The crooked short arm has #30477 on it.
The long straight arm has #30472 RH.

Hello, Vickey. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with our hardware. Looking over your photos, I don't see any immediate difference between the two mechanisms. Can you go into more detail as to exactly what the difference is? Is it a matter of size?

I do note that the orientation of the link arm is slightly different between them, but that's just a matter of turning the handle a certain way before installation. The video below will clarify.
