Using Glue To Secure Leaf weatherseal

A home owner from Michigan says:
I definitely have the leaf weatherseal on my casement windows and will order some from you that will replaced damaged ones. However, many of the existing seals appear undamaged but fit loosely and come part way out of the slot over time. I can push them back in the slot but they come back out after the window is opened a few times. Do I need to replace these loose fitting ones too or can I use an adhesive to glue the last 6 inches in the slot. If so, what glue would you recommend.

Hmm... if you were to use a type of adhesive it would be hard to remove it in the future. Check with a local hardware store in your area and see what they suggest. They may sell a product that would better suit your project.
