Hello, will the 39-348 Sill Mounted Awning Operator be my best choice for replacement? My window width is 30"

I agree, the 39-348 does look very close. However, please check the dimensions with your operator to be certain. You might also want to purchase a newer style fold down handle like our 39-205.
