Window Balance from Traco Window

A purchasing agent from Edwardsville, IL says:

I'm trying to order window balances for Traco windows. I work at a university and we need these for our student housing windows. I've checked other vendors and they don't carry this item. I've been told it's a window balance made by Dakota Balance, but I know the windows were made by Traco. From my research, it seems that Dakota Balance is no longer in business. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciate!

Thank you for posting. We can help you with this balance, but it will have to be custom made. Also, before we begin, I will need some more information. First, can you confirm the weight of the window sash? I believe it should be 42 pounds, but I would like you to double check just in case.

Next, can you confirm which bottom nylon shoe you have? We need to know what to install on the custom balance. I have narrowed it down to our 15-004 and 15-005, so compare their dimensions and let me know which is closer.
