Handle broke off of casement window lock

A quick learner from Seattle says:
The latch on our window broke off. I am uncertain who made the windows but the only number I can find on the window is the following code C-C45-96x60. The distance between the screw holes are about 3 3/4 of an inch apart

Thanks for posting. Check out either our 38-095 or 38-139 and see if either of these could work for you as replacement locks.
A quick learner from Seattle says:
What is the difference between the two locks and how do I tell which will work? Do I order both and return the one that doesn't work?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
The main difference lies in their dimensions, namely the distance between the base of the lock to the tip of the fork. For the 38-095, this distance is 1-5/8", while it is 1-1/2" for the 38-139.
