Tom from SWISCO responded:
Hey, Howard. I'm sorry, but 727 and 827 do not match any of our balance Series. Are those SWISCO codes? If not, what kind of balances do you have? What is the brand of the window? Could I maybe see a few pictures, as well?

It sounds like maybe these could be Andersen sash balances. Can you confirm? If so, the stamps of 727 and 827 are indicative of different strengths. What are your balances currently stamped with?
A quick learner from vineland says:
I have andersen double hung windows
installed in 1978 number stamped on balance is
d61 7 27 178 I was told that 837 was the right
balance to use.
thank you Howard
837 is a swisco code

No, I recommend the 24-737. This can replace balance boxes with the stamp 7 27.
