Window doesn't work, never did

A quick learner from USA says:
My parents have a window that has never worked right. There's something wrong with the hardware around the window.
They have to prop it up with a stick to get it to stay open.
Now they're selling the house, and they want it to work right. What do they need?
User submitted photos of window hardware.
A quick learner from USA says:
another photo.
User submitted a photo of a window balance.

I think we may be able to help, but we will need more information. I think this balance will have to be custom made. Can you just tell me the length of the tube? Can you also tell me how many you will need?
A quick learner says:
the tube is 30" and I need 2 right and left side.

Thank you. I will email you a custom order link for the balance tube shortly. However keep in mind that it does not include the nylon attachments. See our 17-059, 16-013, and 17-095 if you are unable to reuse your original pieces.
A quick learner says:
Paul,

as long as the tubes will attach to 17-059 sash bracket it will work because these are the ones that are broken. The window brackets are still intact.

Thanks A Million,
